My focus has always been on the client. My belief is that if the client is happy, the account management is going well.
As for me, I started in technology marketing at Tektronix (now a division of Danaher), a test & measurement company based in Oregon. Through the years, I’ve provided results-oriented marketing programs for a wide variety of technology companies. My experience spans public relations, technology writing a.k.a. “content creation”, plus creation of many cost-effective communications programs. This includes design, planning, and implementation of successful advertising, public relations, lead generation, and online marketing programs.
My technology background includes working in the fields of semiconductors, nanotechnology, embedded software development tools, test & measurement, wireless network technologies, and biotechnology. I’ve managed hundreds of programs over the years. The budgets ranged from millions of dollars per year to small, focused programs for start-ups, and everything in-between.
I have a B.A. in English Literature and Journalism from Linfield College and a M.A. in Communications and Business Administration from the University of Portland. I am Accredited in Public Relations (APR) by the Public Relations Society of America.
